WHAT I LOVE ABOUT FBC:

FBC has had a special place in my heart ever since I got plugged into the Youth Ministry as a Sophomore in High School. As a student who wasn’t a member of the church I was surprised at how quickly I felt at home here. This church values its young people and as someone who’s mission is to pour into students that is extremely meaningful. As I left for college, the church stayed in contact and encouraged me until the door opened for me to return. This church does exactly what the Bible tells us to do in 1 Thessalonians 5:11 “Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.”

Chuck Harris

Worship & Media Pastor
E-mail Chuck Harris

Chuck joined the OwentonFBC team in February of 2013 and brings energy and passion for people of all ages to our Music and Media Ministries. Chuck desires for every member of the church to connect through multi-generational worship, and to understand what true, biblical worship looks, sounds, and feels like. If he is not doing ministry, you’ll find him playing around with his latest tech gadget, drinking Starbucks or Bird Dog’s coffee, or working at the local high school. Chuck is an avid fan of Apple products and devices, Chipotle, and University of Kentucky Men’s Basketball (unlike some of the other staff members at OwentonFBC).
