Ross Ford joined the Owenton First Baptist Church staff in October 2022 as the Bi-vocational Youth Pastor. He has attended Owenton First Baptist for the past 10 years and for much of this time was a faithful member of the youth group. Graduating from Owen County High School in 2017, Ross has worked with Owenton FBC’s youth on several occasions, both as a volunteer and interim youth minister. As the leader of this group, Ross has a strong desire to form a discipleship culture among the youth and is eager to help students gain a love for the Word of God just as he did in this ministry throughout middle and high school. It is the hope of the Main Street Youth Group that students will be eager to grow spiritually through services like Wednesday night Bible study and that these students will be able to apply teachings to their own lives and share with other youth in the community. Outside of this ministry, Ross is employed as a heating and air technician and has several other jobs including barn and fence painting, pressure washing, and deer processing. Along with this, Ross enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with family in his free time.
